Luckily for the world there are a number of great web pages on the Beats.  Probably the most extensive page being Literary Kicks.  If you want to learn about the life and writings of Kerouac and other Beats, go there.  What you will find here are recordings of Jack's voice.  All files are zipped and in mp3 format unless otherwise noted.  You can download winamp for free to listen to the mp3's.  If you want to see a great page on Neal Cassady, go to IntrepidTrips.   They also have 2 full cds of Neal on the road with the Merry Pranksters.   Check it out.  Lastly there is a pretty good bio of Cassady at The Neal Cassady Experience.   Okay on to the sounds of Kerouac.  Have fun!
